The compact SIMATIC IPC627D is one of the first Industry PCs on the market with the latest 4th generation Intel Core processors (Xeon, i3 – also known under “Haswell”). It distinguishes itself by its high performance in tough industrial environments. With its powerful processors, it is particularly suitable for the fast processing of large amounts of data and demanding visualization solutions at ambient temperatures up to 55 °C. For especially compact solutions (e.g., in the control cabinet), space-saving portrait mounting is available for the IPC627D. A solid-state drive is available for the setup of low-maintenance, highly available, hard-drive-less systems. With up to 16 GB of memory, nothing stands in the way of data-intensive applications. Compatibility with regard to installation, interfaces and software facilitates the migration of existing SIMATIC Box PC 627C applications.
