◾ In a first step, the SIMATIC PCS 7 controller SIMATIC S7-410 has been coated as standard for the operation in harmful gas loaded environments
in accordance with G3 environmental conditions.
◾ Further, the SIMATIC S7-410 product line is already provided with two built-in Ethernet ports, which can optionally be used for Industrial Ethernet and for PROFINET communication.
◾ In addition, the operating range of the SIMATIC PCS 7 controller has been extended and now allows working at an ambient temperature of up to 70 °C.
